MS Students who graduated in Fall 2011 (January 2012 Conferral Date)
MS Students who will graduate in Spring 2012 (May 2012 Conferral Date)
MS Students who will graduate in Summer 2012 (August 2012 Conferral Date)
PHD Students who graduated in Summer 2011 (August 2011 Conferral Date)
PHD Students who graduated in Fall 2011 (January 2012 Conferral Date)
PHD Students who will graduate in Spring 2012 (May 2012 Conferral Date)
PHD Students who will graduate in Summer 2012 (August 2012 Conferral Date) walk in the May 2013 Convocation/Commencement Ceremonies
Graduate Certificate Students do not participate in the annual S-CAR Convocation/GMU Commencement ceremonies. Each summer, there is an S-CAR Graduate Certificate Completion Celebration (July/August). Details will be announced in the coming weeks.
We are looking forward to celebrating your accomplishments at May's graduation ceremony!
What you need to do:
1. Please fill out the information form located below by Friday, April 13, 2012. This form collects the information we need to have you listed in the graduation program. Doctoral students, please do this immediately.
2. If you have not already, you must go to the bookstore to order your cap, gown and tassel. You can also order graduation announcements and diploma frames in the bookstore. Master's graduates need the Golden Yellow velvet hood and Ph.D. graduates need the Royal Blue velvet hood.
3. TICKETS for Commencement (no tickets are required for the ICAR Convocation) are available at the Patriot Center box office beginning mid-April Each student is allowed a maximum of 4 tickets for the main Commencement. Box office hours are Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.- 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE YOUR MASON ID WITH YOU (or at least a photo ID of some description).
