Please join us for an informal discussion with an S-CAR faculty member and admissions representative. Gain insight and have your questions answered concerning the graduate programs offered at S-CAR and the admissions process. In the current global context, the tools to understand and interrupt conflict cycles are essential to building sustainable, peaceful relationships, collaborative processes, effective diplomacy and ethical policies. Join us at an S-CAR information session to learn about the tools and skills necessary for understanding conflict.

Association for Conflict Resolution Annual Conference

S-CAR is represented at each annual ACR Conference.  An S-CAR representative will be present at the Fall 2012 conference. Additional information will be posted soon. Last year, we were in San Diego, October 12-15, 2011.  2011 ACR Conference: Many Paths, One Destination.

Spring 2012 Graduate and Professional Day at George Mason University

On behalf of the Office of Graduate Admissions at George Mason University, we cordially invite you to participate in the Spring 2012 Graduate & Professional Day at Mason. The event will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 3:30pm - 6:30pm in the Johnson Center on our Fairfax campus

More than 600 prospective graduate students and representatives from nearly 100 graduate schools will be in attendance. The Spring 2012 Graduate and Professional Day promises to be one of the largest graduate and professional school events in the Washington, DC area!

Peace Corps Greater DC Master's International Fair @ American University

Master's International (MI) offers the unique opportunity to integrate a master's degree with overseas service in a variety of fields at more than 80 academic institutions nationwide. Established in 1987, MI produces Peace Corps Volunteers with additional education and skills to serve overseas—and helps you earn your advanced degree along the way.
This Masters International Fair will have tables from schools around the district all with information on their programs. Come meet with the MI program coordinators and Peace Corps Recruiters about MI. appetizers and beverages will be provided.
