A synthesis of Biology and Conflict Analysis and Resolution
Nathan Curfiss holds a Bachelor's of Individualized Studies degree, which is a culmination of work in the traditional paradigms of Biology and Conflict Analysis and Resolution, from George Mason University. The two seemingly disparate fields were synthesized in a case study examining the implications for a global society of conducting biological research on a local population. In this particular case, the focus was on a 1996 drug trial conducted by Pfizer, Inc. in Kano, Nigeria. Nathan will soon complete the requirements for an MS degree from S-CAR.
In addition to his service at S-CAR as the Grants and Development Manager, Nathan is a member of the Dean's Office and he serves as the Secretary of the S-CAR Advisory Board. Prior to asssuming his current role at S-CAR, Nathan worked for a total of nine years in the Finance Departments at the Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C. and the Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City.
