Student Association Open Forum – Thursday, October 20, 2011
The Student Association (SA) at S-CAR invites you to the first open forum of the 2011 school year. Please join the SA on Thursday, October 20th from 7pm to 9pm in Truland 555. The open forum is an opportunity to meet members of The Student Association, learn about the organization’s work within Mason and S-CAR, and find out how you can take part in the decision making process as an S-CAR student. Additionally, the open forum provides an opportunity for students to reflect on their experiences at S-CAR, express their concerns, and help prioritize issues they would like the SA to address with the faculty and administration. John Burton Library Open House and Happy Hour: Thursday, October 6 at 7:00pm
The John Burton Library, located on the 6th floor of the Truland Building on the Arlington campus, is having its grand re-opening after undergoing some transformation. The open house is an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to discover what the new Library has offer.
The open house will be followed by a happy hour event at O'Sullivans Irish Pub. We would like to use this time to get to know everyone a little bit better and to discuss what the school year has in store.
