Minor in Conflict Analysis and Resolution

Overview

The minor in Conflict Analysis and Resolution requires students to complete eighteen credits of course work. Eight credits must be applied only to the minor and may not be used to fulfill requirements of the student's major or another minor.

Minor Requirements

Required core courses (9 credits):

  • CONF 101 Conflict and Our World
  • CONF 210 Theories of Conflict Analysis and Resolution
  • CONF 300 Conflict Resolution Techniques and Practice

One bridge course (3 credits):

  • CONF 320 Interpersonal Conflict Analysis and Resolution
    or
  • CONF 330 Community, Group, and Organizational Conflict Analysis and Resolution
    or
  • CONF 340 Global Conflict Analysis and Resolution

Concentration courses (6 credits):

Students choose courses from one of the three levels of conflict: interpersonal, community/organizational,or global.
